El Centro Unit 3 Repower Project, Power Engineers, for Imperial Irrigation District, El Centro, CA
JMA provided paleontological assessments, worker awareness training, and paleontological mitigation monitoring and documentation for Power Engineers during the project construction phase of the El Centro Unit 3 Repower Project. Our staff implemented and documented paleontological compliance efforts with the California Energy Commission (CEC) Conditions of Exemption (COE) for the Small Power Plant Exemption (06-SPPE-02, 2006) and ICAPCD permit ATC No. 3964.
JMA reviewed preliminary reports, prepared a Paleontological Resource Mitigation Monitoring Plan (PRMMP), and prepared a Worker Environmental Awareness Training program in compliance with the COE, and monitored all ground disturbing activities.
