Paleontological Field Technician

Marissa De Hoyos is a geologist with an interest in paleontology and water quality. She has been with JMA conducting paleontological monitoring since 2016. She has experience in identifying and logging paleo fossils along with conducting field work in paleontology, and water quality studies. She is in her last year at California State University, Los Angeles for graduate studies in water quality in the Malibu Watershed. Marissa earned her Master’s of Science Degree in Geosciences: Environmental Hydrogeology in 2019.
